For Sale by Bidding in Support of MettaCats: Porcelain Doll by Paula Loh

The creator of Paulette, Paula Loh:
"My adventures into the world of dolls and doll-making began when I responded to an advertisment in the Straits Tmes for a porcelain dollmaking class at YMCA in December 1999. The instuctor was, Anne Meyers, a kindly and patient Eurasian lady who conducted a solo class with 10 students, consisting of two males.

After the completion of my first porcelain doll, I got totally hooked. I yearned to create more dolls, and it came to no surprise that I wasn't the only one who shared the same sentiments. There were three other students who were keen to continue on. So the four of us would convene at Ms Meyer's residence every Saturday afternoon for our dollmaking sessions.

I went on to make more dolls for almost a year, under Ms Meyer's tutorledge, after which, she suggested that I sign up for a membership to the (DAG) Doll Artisan Guild School of Dollmaking. In doing so, I could proceed to attend the many levels of seminars to upgrade myself.

In 2002, I became a certified Doll Artisan and obtained a Diploma as a Seely Doll product teacher. "
